I could see If Floyd made Cotto come down to 147 when Cotto clearly couldn't make the weight or something like that but that isn't the case.
I'm glad someone besides me knows this. Arum knew Cotto was not ready for Floyd and that why he did not have them fight but most people will say Floyd ducked him.

If Cotto feels that 154 is his prime and best weight, who are we to tell him how he feels though????

I understand all that other stuff regarding opinions and legacy, but to him 154 is his prime weight.

Just like when Pac said 154 was not good for him, it is what it is, stop trying to switch stuff around to fit your point of view.

Are you suggesting Oscar might lie to sell a fight between Alvarez and Cotto?

If we believed everything fighters say to be the truth, there wouldn't be such a thing as a true statement.

Ok I understand, so do I believe Pacquiao when he said that 154 was too big for him?

                    Exactly.

As much money as Floyd makes ODH, you'd think he wouldn't make it so obvious he would like to see him lose.

                      translation

Cotto doesn't want to fight Canelo so De La Hoya rips him in order to help pub this fight.

De La Hoya wouldn't be ripping unless Cotto has other plans.
