They're only looking at him from a offensive perspective, which is something to be excited about imho. However, Cruz plays right into Donaire/Rigo's hands stylistically. They would stifle his output and chin-check him.

These people are quick to call others & call them silly names, rant etc & then backtrack or disappear for weeks, the reality is they know **** about boxing and don't understand styles. They fall for the next hype time and time again.

I can see why people are interested in him hes got an impressive workrate & he goes to the body well but lets keep it real, hes a prospect with **** footwork, no head movement, little power, a lot of defensive flaws and hes only fought punchbags. If he don't step his game up he could get exposed the very second he steps up. Hes still developing and has a lot to go.

Anybody who says this kid hangs with Donaire or Rigondeaux, frankly put is a fu.cking idiot.
They're praising him way too early and this is why prospects get ruined because of the pressure put on them to take fights they aren't ready for by idiots. They need to forget Rigo & Donaire push him for a big fight against a decent guy like Quigg or something. Hes noway near ready for Rigo/Donaire and very likely will never be.
