I was at the last 2 big events. The Garcia-Judah and the Canelo-Trout fights. Both were packed & amped. Very good crowd. It was mostly Philly vs Brooklyn/NY for the Barclays fight and it was like being in Mexico for the Canelo fight so both fights were crazy

The only thing I can say I didn't like, were the tolls to go in and out of Brooklyn, on the Verrazano its $13 to go into the city and $15 to leave the city.

Don't know the prices of the concession stand food, I didn't buy anything inside, plenty of places to eat outside.

The Barclay Center has the same exact seating as The Garden and The Prudential Center (in Newark). Same comfort. The main difference is in the atmosphere between all three. The atmosphere in Brooklyn/Barclay's, is more rowdy than the other 2. There's more pride behind their hometown.

But it will never be the MGM anytime soon because of it's location. The Garden is in the center of NYC day and nightlife. It's in the middle of everything. Super close to Times Square, etc. Underneath you have Penn Station, where trains go to Philly, Long Island, Jersey, Boston, etc. The Garden cannot be beat anytime soon. Brooklyn is still a work in progress in getting gentrified... If you were at the fight like I was, I'm sure you noticed the two big fights that broke out in the crowd (women and men throwing punches at each other, lol).

One thing I forgot to metion. Before the last two fights they stopped serving alcohol. Sin of sins. MSG has its own crowd and is not going nowhere. PPL will go and pay to see big fights anywhere they are at.

I really wish Boxing in general moves away from Casino fights. I've been to a few fights in Casinos and when compared to places like Staples Center, Home Depot Center, etc. the atmosphere is always 100 times better at the arenas. Watching the fights from TV, Barclay's Center does seem to have good crowds.

I know casinos pay a lot of money to host the fights because it brings them a ton of extra foot traffic...So it'll probably never happen.

It looked like it was, I sat in section 31 and every 4 seat was seperated, in A/C everybody is packed in there like sardines.

Security seemed like any other sporting event, they pat you down and send you on your way. I think 1 fight broke out on Saturday and security reacted quickly, you could see about 4-5 guys jumping over the barriers trying to get control of the situation, other than that, they were on point.
