Will Broner be SLOWER at 147?

Because of the added weight, will Broner be slower at 147 and if so how much easier will he be to hit? How effective will he be offensively with reduced speed?

No he won't be slower, it may do him some good not having to cut so much. He rehydrates to 155+

Nope, he might not hold the same advantages over his opponents but in terms of athleticism he should be at his best.

Ehh, Broner damn near came in as welterweight against DeMarco. I have no doubts in his ability to perform considering we basically already saw him at this weight.

We won't know til fight time if the added weight will affect him. Even then, Paul Malignaggi is not very slow himself, so we will have to see how the fight goes.

even if he is, which I doubt, it won't make a difference bc paulie can't earn his respect. I see an inside fight w paulie wearing down mid to late. Paulie is a smart fighter but he's at a speed and power disadvantage. Not too many scenarios where I can c him winning.

i don't think so. at least not enough where his speed will be a problem. at 130 and 135 he was a rehydrator. he'd put on 15+ lbs after a weigh in. i don't think he'll walk in with much more weight on fight night than he did at those weights. 150-55. maybe 160, but i seriously doubt it.

we shall see, though. i can't say for sure, as we've only seen him at 135 recently.

Why would he be slower? I doubt he's putting on any weight, just not cutting water
