Floyd's PPV failing would be the best thing for boxing right now!

Floyd defense crew took offense to your thread.

It'll do a little over 850k buys (might get reported as higher). I know what you mean though, I don't want him to duck Canelo either. Who knows though, like you said his illegitimate children will buy him fighting Alexander.

Floyd will fight Canelo eventually regardless of what this PPV does.

That may be so but its still a dangerous fight for Floyd that will bring in huge numbers and a fight that many boxing fans want to see since Pac is currently out of the picture.

I'm not a fan of Floyd's persona but I will definitely tune in and pay to watch him as long as its against a legit opponent. I will not pay for Guerrero nor will I pay to watch him fight someone like Alexander. I respect his skills but unlike his fanboys, I want to see him in the most challenging fights possible. I can care less about what's financially beneficial to him. I'm a fan of the sport. Not his accountant.

It will be nice to see him being forced an oppenent rather then picking for a change, I can say that.

Even if it did 20k buys that still wouldn't force him into a opponent that's the position he's made for himself he probaly would opt of the contract since they say he has clause and be network FA again.

It would certainly put some fire under his behind to step in the ring with someone who will bring him the #'s and $ he's accustomed to though. Or are you just satisfied with him fighting less than stellar comp for the remainder of his career. Sheet, he needs to take a page from the 48yr old Hopkins.

I would love for him to fight Canelo or Sergio next I just know nothing is going to force him to do it.
