Hah, Meta World Peace linked this article on his twitter. Didn't know he was a fan. I guess he could relate with the knee.

He came back too soon. It's really a shame...one of my favourite boxers...it may be over for him.

I said it and I'll say it again: such a great fighter (i.e. Martinez) needs highly professional medical treatment...
Team Martinez acted in an amateurish way so far -- it's a pity to waist a talent like this, even if he's 38...

Looks like injuries have taken their toll which is a shame.

Hopefully he can recover well enough to have one last big fight that he comes through unscathed.

I like the idea of him against Cotto for a career swansong for the pair.

Either you're 5 years old or you're ignorant.

You don't think he'll be much better, healthy, at 39, than he was in this last fight, at 38, badly injured? Why would it have to be over? C'mon... He may choose to walk away, though.

Maybe he should wait more to fight, but his doctors are one of the most prestigious in the world. After Maclin fight he was with the spain king, messi or Nadal doctor.
