Peterson is also a once in a lifetime type athlete. No one in the history has come back from a serious injury like that, and dominated their sport.

Martinez vs Cotto next year would be a great fight.

I think both are near the end of their boxing careers but they have enough left for each other and their seems to be some beef between the two of them. Martinez thinks Cotto disrespected him in public so why not settle it in the ring and make a decent payday.

Martinez said awhile ago he doesn't want to fight when he's 40 and he only has 2 fights left on his contract. maybe Cotto and Canelo and then he should call it a career.

That dude must be balling. Every athlete worth a crap consults him on every single knee, elbow or shoulder injury.

Lol tweet Dibella maybe he'll see it

Yes. You are correct. I read that as well.

Hate that injuries are taking Sergio out of the game, and probably for good. WAR MARAVILLA

This guy has a huge heart. With those injuries he could've wilted against Murray but be fought courageously! I can see him coming back but at 39 by that time his best option might be to call it a career and a great one at that.

Since Sergio Martinez is now likely out till 2014, I think Cotto/Canelo will meet in September and the winner will then move up to face Martinez in early 2014.

Martinez fractured his left hand and also damaged his surgically repaired right knee.
