it's a credible fight, just not a fight that really matters
Floyd will get a modicum of props for beating Guerrero
it's exactly what it says on paper; a mandatory defense
Floyd simply doesn't really have many options right now

"floyd ain't allowed to fight any top fighters in his natural division(140-147lbs).....lol. throw him in there with ward to even things out."

No matter who Floyd chooses.. these *****es that don't know **** about boxing will always be dissatisfied. To be truthful the only thing he can do that they will approve of is retire, there is no one left for him to really fight in the sport that is worthy. Guerrero is a much better opponent for him than anyone else in the division even Pac who never adjusts in a fight. Pacquiao was never a fighter that was on Mayweather level, even though I wished that fight happened badly, it was more so everyone can see how **** Pac was when he comes face to face with a master boxer. Marquez already showed it in the fights prior to the fourth bout but I knew Mayweather will absolutely neutralize him and people will come up with a million excuses (as they are doing now with his recent knockout). No great fighter will ever go to sleep like that.. ever. What P4P fighter have you seen go to sleep like that and will be consider legendary? Roy Jones isn't great to me he was overrated too (also caught using PEDs) after which he started going to sleep.. Pac in the same catergory. Mayweather is in the cloth of SRR.

Pac/Mayweather isn't relevant. Pac nearly died last time out, get over it. He's forever going to be known as a leftover; so if I was a Pacfan diehard, I would delete leftover from my vocabulary.

And cong**** on not buying anymore May fights, nobody gives a *****
Pac jmm series is not over! Don't be too proud! If happened because Pac's a warrior and gave JMM 4 chances! Pac was winning the fight before JMM got lucky!

Cotto was beaten to pulp by Pac and cheato before Floyd even considered fighting him! then beaten by Trout and Floyd because Cotto's already done since the Pac beating!

Pac will be back! I hope ur Aztec Warrior, is really warrior! Amd fight Pac again!

Who else is there? Lara and Vanes? Yawn, two guys who are overrated and fail to live up to the hype when they step up. He could fight Molina, that'd be a good fight, about as decent as a matchup as him fighting Guerrero, so what's the point...and who else, nobody there either? He could give Cotto a rematch since their first one was fun, but he'd get speared for that since Trout beat Cotto, so that's a no-go.

Everyone wants him to jump up two weightclasses to fight Sergio, but now Sergio is out w/ injuries, so that's a no go.

Again, who is there to fight. Once this May fight is finished, we can look forward to May 2014. Maybe Canelo fight will be there, since I doubt Mayweather is fighting in September.
Both Canelo and Trout would have dropped their planned opponent in a second for a fight with Floyd

Duran went to sleep once. Marquez needed 39 rounds before putting in the finishing touch, got dropped and hurt a whole lot to get there. Floyd could probably do it faster, but he doesn't like this second part. And you're a-ok with that, fantasy will do.

Im not really all too concerned about who Floyd fights anymore. But, what does concern me a little is his last two picks have been against guys who, in there last fight or two, had either fight of the year type bouts or it was a high contact fight. Seeing those fights, I dont think anyone really thought or thinks that Ortiz and Guererro will be hard to land punches on. The fight before that was againsy a pretty good foe in Cotto, but many wondered what Miguel really had left after taking beatings from Margarito and Manny. And he didn't look good against Foreman, and I think Margarito was on his way to stopping him in the rematch. This and Martinez was practically begging to meet Floyd as low as 150.

Floyd has the best technical skills of any of his contemporaries and is one of the most technically sound fighters of all time if not the most. But, if he wants to be credited with being the greatest he will have to walk the same path of the greats before him and take the risky fights. 147 is a very safe place for him and we have seen that he can comfortably make 154. There is a division above him with young risky talent waiting to be conquered.

LOOL so Guerrero is a better opponent than a prime Pacquiao!
