He was literally jumping into and walking through Sergio's jabs, straight left hands and right hooks. The size of Murray's back in itself was a bit absurd. That guy has some of the most overdeveloped musculature I can recall for a man his size. Again, his back was utterly massive and rippling with muscle. Reminded me of the roided up versions of Vargas and Roy Jones.
You don't give a fight to someone cause his opponent is "too big and too strong." Martin Murray could of had 75 pounds on Sergio, all that matters is what happened in the ring. And Murray won that fight, plain and simple.

I had the same scorecard as Harold Lederman had Martinez winning 114-113 and I do not agree with them calling Martinez falling a slip but that is what they ruled it so that is what I scored it as.

The only conclusion many have been drawing is that Martinez is old, shot, ect.

I had it a draw but the ref should have called that second knock down, which would have given Murray the win on my card.

Martin Murray began to dictate the pace of the fight in round 4 and never looked back. Murray hit Sergio with more than enough shots and was very responsible defensively... he desreved the win
I don't get your logic......the guy has won virtually all of his fights with no amateur career. Started at 147, won a title at 154, is the guy to beat at 160, beating guys who have never lost before. He gives the other guys all their demands just to make the fight and still wins, even against a guy that outweighs him by like 20 pounds. Why is he so overrated? Ward beat like 3 good guys his entire career and is now #1. Broner beat cans that he outweighs by 15 pounds and he is #5. Pac got ktfo and is still i the top 10 p4p. JMM has several losses on his record and is like top 5 now for beating a guy that already beat him 2 times. Donaire is still in the top 10 when he just got taken to school.
Martinez has more KO's than most of these other guys even have fights. He beats guys that people call bums because they don't like Sergio and they don't know the opponents. After Martinez beats them, they go on to beat the snot out of other guys and all of a sudden these guys are the guys to beat to earn credibility at middleweight. Before the Sergio fight, they are cans though. It's funny how that works.
