Mosley said that Cotto hit harder than Margarito but that didn't help Cotto in the first fight and he didn't stop Margarito in the rematch without the officials stopping it. Mosley had a close debated decision against Cotto (I felt Cotto did enough to win) but slaughtered Margarito. Doesn't matter how hard a fighter hits if he is not doing the significant damage it takes to put a beating on a fighter. Clearly Garcia put a bigger hurting on Zab then Matthysse did. Maybe Matthysse does hit harder but from the looks of both fights with Zab it is debatable but HEY!......

Zab would know better than us right? Matthysse is a good fighter but he is not dominant and against fighters who can take his punch, survive then he will go through close or debatable decisions more than he already has. He reminds me of Luis Collazo in a way. Good fighter but always falls short in the big fights whether from close decisions or robberies. Matthysse is with Golden Boy and Zab wasn't but the judges called it for Zab. Would think if Matthysse clearly won then the judges would give it to Golden Boy's guy. None of this matters because Peterson/Matthysse is coming up and this will show how good Matthysse really is because power don't mean much to Peterson because he's durable.

Your right,I've not step in with either one(thank god for me lol),but from the eye test..Garcia was not only able to put together his offense better then Matt's,but he also hurt Zab far more times and far more frequently then Matt's..So imo it sounds a bit like sour g****s..
You are insinuating that Zab Judah is wrong right now. Saying ''Duh I'm not'' doesn't change what is. By suggesting that Zab is making his statements out of bitterness, you're suggesting that he is not making those statements based on what is actually the truth.

Also Garcia being able to put together a better offense does not equal him being as hard a hitter. That aspect could be down to Garcia's skill....... which Zab praised him for. You ****** fan boy.

Ok,lol..So I should believe a guy who had numerous run in's with the Garcia's instead of my own eyes..Nah I'll be ight..Judah was beating far worse then when he fought Matt's..That's truly all I need to see..

While this is true, you also have to look at the caliber of Garcia's opponents his last 5 fights..While looking at the quality of Matt's opponents and if he stopped the opponents..Last 5 fights Garcia beats Matt's out in quality of opponent..No??

Matthysse is kind of obviously the harder puncher, but Garcia has power.
Him KO'in Khan is an accomplishment when he was the underdog who was supposed to lose

Garcia deserves credit for the victory, but considering the fact that Khan is clearly not hard to hurt, I don't think it's a good argument to say something like "Garcia hits harder than Matthysse because he stopped Khan." It's clear he has power, but I don't think he's some KO artist who can plow through his opponents because I don't think he's that type of fighter, stylistically speaking. I don't think he should start believing in his power like we've seen others fighters do.
