iv always thought he is a fairly average fighter to be honest.
I have to agree he looks average and his punching technique is bad but he is somwthing we have not seen a lot in boxing he is a counter puncher with KO power on both hands. I expect him to do much better against Mathysse-Peterson winner.
KO power? Based on what? His brutal KO of Zab Judah last night? Or the way he KOed the washed up Kendall Holt?
Zab didn't "take away his left hand" you idiots....The left hand doesn't work on southpaws.
Have any of you idiots ever even stepped in the ring before??? It's basic knowledge that the left hook isn't effective against Southpaws.
Matthyse is garbage and not even top 5 in the division....The only guy to beat Garcia at 140lbs is Lamont Peterson which may happen since Peterson is going to embarrass Matthyse in 3 weeks.
He was not exposed by Judah this was only his third fight going more than 10 rounds so that ayed a part. People forget that Danny was still developing when he got the Khan fight and that he still 25.
He wasn't exposed at all...Judah has always given problems (when he brings his A game) to ANY fighter he has faced.
Judah won the 1st 4 rounds against Floyd....And Judah did a hell of alot better against Lucas Bumtthyse (he outboxed him fair and square) than he did in just winning 2-3 rounds against Garcia.
Funny thing is, TS if you think getting tired was and is Garcia's only issue you have some more studying to do.

And you don't know anything about boxing if you think "Zab took away his Left Hook'....Zab being a lefty "took away the left hook" as it's very difficult to land it against a southpaw.
Garcia is the most complete fighter in the 140lb division for sure...Even without his deadly left hook due to fighting a southpaw he is still extremely talented.
Garcia isn't average or bad. He does a lot of stuff pretty good or decent, which makes him a good fighter.
He was up 8-1 going into the final rounds, I think he fell in love with trying to knock Judah out and looking for too many big shots. He should have stayed doing what was getting him the dominant lead on the cards the first 3/4 of the fight.
I don't think Garcia beats Lucas, based on styles. Lucas will push the pace and bring the fight to him, and Garcia doesn't look too great fighting backwards. But I think Garcia can beat Peterson, and Peterson can beat Lucas. So we'll just have to wait and see.
