    George Groves is fighting...

Another Argentinian - This ones called Noe Gonzalez Alcoba

I'll be the first to admit I was pretty clueless about this guy so took a look at his record. He has spent most his career at middleweight, lost a wide decision to Sturm some years back, blasted out in 2 by Stevenson & beat nothing but a load of Argentinian coal miners.

His record would indicate hes a bit of a ****er but after looking at his fights I think its fair to say his opposition has just been nothing but non durable journeyman.

What is Groves/Hearn playing at? He beats Johnson (good win despite him being a senior citizen) & well this will be his third consecutive unranked Argentinian journeyman in a row. Is he ever going to step up?
Okay hes only been stopped once but this guy is pure garbage .

Hes beaten far better opposition than this 10-12 fights back. I'm going off this kid real quick. At least DeFail is fighting half decent Euro level opposition.

I still remember when Sturm beat him. He was a joke of an opponent then, he's a joke of an opponent now.

Groves is a decent boxer but really needs to stop fighting bums

I went off Groves. Fights nothing but bums and pensioners.

They're trying to showcase him to a new audience after moving to Matchroom. He's fighting scrubs, for sure, but I have every confidence that he'll be in a big fight soon, probably headlining.

Probably just taking the opportunity give him a bit of exposure in a stay busy fight on a big card. I wouldn't worry about this unless his next fight is equally pointless.

**** fight hearn is just saving a few quid knowing groves v someone decent wont add much
to the ppv numbers. Hopefully groves will step up after and headline his own event on the autumn.

Next fight after is supposed to be for a world title... This is my main worry as this fight is not one to prepare you for an autumn title tilt in what'll probably be Germany.

                    At least he's staying busy.

No one is going to watch the undercard, anyway; it's on the same night as the CL final.
