Except Murray wasn't credited with a second knockdown, and he didn't score a hypothetical third knockdown. Fights are to be judged on what happened, not what might have happened or should have happened.

Murray consistently landed well from rounds 6-10. He didn't do much or didn't do much more than Sergio in many other rounds, and each round is weighted equally.
So you awarded all close rounds to Martinez. LOL how fair of you.

Okay and what happened in the ring is Murray still won. The best you can say without being ridiculous is Martinez won 6 rounds at most, so with the ACTUAL KD Murray would have won by 1 point.

So I'm not sure what you're getting at EXactly.

The rounds Sergio won are the ones that could have gone either way, if anything.
I never said Sergio was more effective beyond doubt; I think many rounds were close and could've gone either way.

You're claiming that Murray clearly won, so the onus is on you to make a case that Martinez could not have won the fight because Murray won enough round beyond argument.

I think a case can be made that Martinez won at least 7 rounds. Why don't you name the rounds that he unarguably didn't win?

I had it 114-113 and it could have been 115-112. Murray gave up the first 4 rounds where he hid in a turtle shell and then he gassed in the last two. Martinez in my opinion won at least one or two of the middle rounds (Rds 7,9).

The compubox numbers were terrible. However, Martinez really needs time to fully recover from his injuries, a prime Sergio would have taken Murray out in by the 10th.

I already said Murray landed more punches, was more accurate, landed the harder punches, snapped Sergio's head back constantly and knocked him down.

Martinez won 6 rounds MAX, and if he won 6 then Murray wins by a point.

What more of a case do I have to make?

Only clear rounds for Martinez were 1,2,3.

Scoring each close round for Sergio isn't necessarily unfair; he may have done just a little more in each of those rounds and thus fairly won each of them.
