I was pleasantly suprised by that fight - a real slugfest. Arreola obviously became gun shy after being nailed in those early-middle rounds. Stiverne can ****. Good fight.

Not so sure about that. Stiverne is a better boxer than Wilder and also has punching power. Arreola got dropped in the third round but has a granite chin which saved him. Wilder has punching power and can probably drop anyone if his right hand lands but he seriously lacks technical skills.

Next time boxinscene should have Stevie Wonder judge a fight. Im sure he would of handed in a better scorecard.

Also wtf was that with Don King at the end lol

Arreola has the tools to win and be competitive, but all the talk of taking his career seriously and losing weight ended up as just that; all talk. Dude weighed basically what he did when he said that he had to lose weight to compete at a world level.

Makes me think of a quote by another limited but powerful fighter.

"That's where your roadwork shows. If you cheated on that in the dark of the morning, well, you're going to get found out now, under the bright lights.” - Joe Frazier

Ya, 114-113 is a terrible card.

I saw ******* arreola at a jack in the box drive thru around 4 months ago. He must of ordered around 10 bags of food. At first I though "oh he's buying grub for his whole family" now I dont know.
