Boxing wise, I'm happy we are still getting to see Broner against a mover who has a chin. He's still learning himself, so maybe he shows something we haven't seen yet either, so it's not a bad fight as far as I'm concerned. You know, Malignaggi is not Mosley in terms of power but I remember the forums when Mosley said "Margarito is Delusional, I'm Knocking Him Out". The fans went crazy ridiculing Mosley in all kinds of ways. This kind of reminds me of that. Malignaggi is talking all this crazy talk, so confident, and people are like bashing him, thinking he's crazy. But i'm telling you, I don't think the fight is going to be as easy as people think for Broner. Some people thought Abril, Bruns and Vazquez were going to be a challenge for Broner...well Malignaggi is like those guys but bigger and more experienced at the pro level. Don't let Malignaggi's 3 losses against Cotto, Hatton, and Khan fool you, those guys, he fought them at their weight classes when they were prime especially Khan and Cotto. But Broner is moving up to a territory he's not familiar with.

Just look at the posts..they are hilarious considering what Mosley ended up doing to Margarito. This could happen to Broner too, especially how Rees was successful with him early on.

Paulie outboxing Broner is a possibility, but Paulie beating Broner from pillar to post is something I'll need to see to believe. Paulie just isn't that kind of fighter, and to do that against a good (albeit relatively unproven) opponent when he's past his prime would be VERY impressive.

Its not a cheery pick btw to those who say it is, id rather see The Problem in there with the Beasts at 140 like Mattthysse, Garcia, Alvarado, Rios, even Khan but anytime a man jumps TWO weight classes to face a champion then that is no Cherry Pick. Broner is strong but very limited when compared to Paulie. Broner will be taken to school by Paulies speed and skill. I'll bet all of my points on a Paulie Mal victory if anybody is game......... Rockin'

i think part of the reason broner appears limited its because that limited approach always got the job done. by my estimation hes above average in terms of being well rounded.

hes a complete offensive and defensive fighter, he can fight inside or outside, backwards or forwards, lead or counter, box or fight. do you consider him limited because of his footwork? because he can switch it up, you just have to be good enough to make him.
