So at the hypothetical same weight, you'd take Marquez over Ward?

    Interesting, but I wouldn't.

Looking at some of the other posts in this thread, I'm genuinely starting to believe people are forgetting what P4P even means

infact he's already ahead of Floyd. He's second only to Ward. KO'ing Bradley puts him ahead
If he KO's TB, he solidifies his #1 P4P rating. Yeah he lost to Floyd, but that fight was between a fat Lightweight and a full Welterweight. P4P, JMM would rank ahead of Floyd with a Bradley KO win.

Ward is the #1 P4P boxer on the planet right now. In and around his weight class can't nobody come close to f**king with him.

No, JMM KO'ing Bradley does not leap frog him ahead of Ward.

Ward is good, but no, he has not done anything close to what Mayweather, Marquez and Pacquiao have done in the sport. The kid needs to earn his stripes. Going up to 175 and rematching Chad would be a step in the right direction.

Well I'm talking about at this very second. To me, the only one that comes close P4P at this moment is JMM, and that's IF he wins clearly against Bradley.

Floyd is just too inactive to hold the top spot -- and judging by his purely mediocre performance against Cotto, his curtains appear to be closing. But again, the inactivity is just too much to hold down the TOP mythical spot in the sport.

As for Pac, getting KTFO in that fashion is a severe status blow. I still have him in my top ten but probably barely at best.

Why should i give a **** when i suspect most everyone at the elite level is using roids?

Testing is so flawed and lacklustre that i cant blame them either. Youre gonna be saying no to potential huge paydays and whats possibly a level playing field because youre an upstanding character?

At the end of the day, they punch each other in the face for a living. Naturally theyre gonna look for something to make them better at it. Especially if they suspect their opponents are roiding too.

                      Bradley just snatched Marquez's spot
