Comments Thread For: Floyd Mayweather Jr: I Still Have The Will To Win!

Whenever Floyd Mayweather Jr. fights or even makes a major announcement regarding his career, the boxing world collectively stands up and takes notice.

Even in a career filled with earth-shattering results and news, there was perhaps no bigger moment than when word leaked of his six-fight deal with Showtime after a career largely spent fighting on HBO’s airwaves. The first of the six fights comes on May 4, when he faces Robert Guerrero in a Showtime pay-per-view headliner from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Hmm, with 200 mill I would be motivated to win too, but like Biggie Smalls said, "mo' money, mo'problems." [Robin Givens eyes floyd too eagerly from a distance].

The Canelo Curse Remains & Martinez #1 Anyway lol

Too bad Fraud is going to get beat up and battered when his gone legs can't hold him for defense anymore. Guerrero is coming for blood and the Canelo curse will show up cause he's going to be ringside for the upset. The ghost will force the fight and batter Fraud mark my words. Hatton did good in te first half of the fight and was actually up on the scorecards but he was a smaller man and also no stamina, dumb on defense and had no chin. Ghost proved in the Berto fight he has all that to beat fraud. It's all on if the ref lets h fight on the inside.

Hatton did a really good job trying to wrestle. As far as boxing he was a really good student.

Yeah, that was a horrible night that I never want to go through again as well. At least with that, all the signs were there so it wasn't completely unexpected. If Floyd has any fights close to a Tarver I, I believe he hangs up his gloves.

Hey you brought up some good points. Guerrero is bigger and much better fighter then Hatton was and is going to give Floyd Mayweather serious problems come Cinco Te Mayo. Guerrero is the man to show Floyd humilty and all the rest of his prideful fans of is, everybody has to be humble some time.

Once Roy really became Roy I actually wanted to see how he'd react if he ever got knocked down but every time he did , except for that one time earlier, he never got up. I kinda wanna see how Floyd would react after getting knocked down. The other side of it is , the money I bet says screw suspense and just kill this dude , Floyd!
