Notice what his PPV numbers were early in his career? A little ******ed to expect anything more then maybe 400,000 PPV buys for Canelo's first PPV.

Julio cesar Chavez jr vs maravilla Martinez did 500k ppv buys also facing Canelo the same night. That's the real Cash Cow! Chavez first pay per view fighting an unknown fighter like trout.

Guy sells out a 40k stadium. Does well on PPV for his first event, Boxingscene says he's not a draw. Gotta love the internet

Wasn't this fight offered for $25 for non showtime subscribers? I would have expected his numbers to be a bit higher if that was the case.

And how many people showed up in the Alamo dome when he fought there? 13,000? Hell Chavez Jr fought Andy lee here in El Paso and only like 13,000 showed up.

To put this into perspective, Canelo's audience has been 21-percent larger on HBO than his two SHO appearances... #boxing
HBO has 28 million viewers Showtime has 22 million viewers thats a 21.5% diffrence. Hmmmmmm old steve kim here says that Canelo's viwership went down 21%! Anybody else care to argue mathmatics????
