    Also this is what Showtime payed for. They brought Goldenboy over to boost there viewers and since its a pay station they are obviously getting more subscribers to buy showtime.

            Yeah disappointing number. He's pulled good numbers on all his previous fights and packed houses for his fights. Need to take him back to hbo. But overall disappointing number for such a good fight. Hbo has a bigger audience which makes it possible for the broners and canelos to pull the 1.5 s. frankly showtime sucks at covering fights.

                Those are GREAT numbers for this kid who's just getting going as far as numbers are concerned. If your realiastic and look to build on them it comes down to opponents and these days theres not many to choose from. I give credit to both Trout and Canelo for stepping up and fighting a fight that means something! Their both to be commended!! Ray

                    I would tend to agree with this, in Mayweather and Canelo they have the stars to convince boxing subscribers to switch. People should also remember Austin Trout is not that well known.

                            By Showtime standards 1.1 M is like all time great. For HBO it's just meh.

                            He also didn't have to compete with another big PPV, like he did when he fought Lopez.

                                    Canelo could of been a true cross over star had GBP kept things good with HBO. It's really too bad the decisions GBP has made that holds the entire sport back.
