Doesn't make sense to me, Arum operates on a fight by fight basis. There is a longterm plan but the objective is to maximize the revenue of each fight as it comes.
Marquez and Bradley will always have that leverage at the negotiating table since they officially beat Pacquiao. If viewing figures were low, they could easily place the blame on Arum for not promoting the event correctly - or for it clashing with a Mayweather fight. In fact, I would guess that neither Marquez or Bradley would want to fight on the same day as Mayweather.
