Just once, I'd like to see a boxer fight smart in the cage and actually win the way a boxer can win against MMA - shoot the uppercut before the takedown. Simple as that.

Is Mayorga the guy to do it? Nope!

But he's got a great spirit and you can't help but like the guy.

This Tiffer guy is actually a nobody. He doesn't even have a pro record. That doesn't mean he can't fight, he probably is a grappler, which will give him a good chance. He's unknown. Mayorga certainly has a chance against a guy like this though. They probably picked him for a reason.

Nobody touches Ricardo....Nobody! Him and Vargas? absolute classic of Machismo Latin **** talkin' with Mayorga takin it right to the edge when he spoke rudely to one of Nando's "queens."

I swear this guy always brings a chuckle and a smile, I don't know what I would do if I didn't know Mayorga was out doing his thang!

Ohh and the fight? Well the thing is like Del Boy I am sure Mayorga will talk himself into another few interesting scraps. Does anyone know how long he has been training in the MMA? Everyone assumes that a boxer will do a James Toney...the thing is Mayorga does sort of prepare for his fights....not compared to the level of **** talking but he is usually ready to go.

I remember seeing Mayorga at Miccossukkee casino in here in Miami. Me and my brother talked to him for about a good 15 minutes about the Trinidad fight, giving him thanks for making the Madison Square Garden arena pop off after he offered his chin to Tito in the 1st round and his fight with Vargas. He's a cool ass dude but he bummed about 7 Newport cigarettes from my brother haha my brother hates people bumming cigarettes off him but my brother told me after chilling with Mayorga, he said "Mayorga is a G he's deserves those cigarettes I gave him"
