Boente's said that the fight won't happen unless Wlad's purse is safely deposited in one of his accounts before the fight happens. Pretty reasonable, considering where the money comes from.

The bid is outrageous in that they must have known they could still have won with a much lesser bid and chose this astronomical number instead.

This whole thing is a bit odd.

But hey, Wlad would almost be making Mayweather money if it goes through.

Sure, there's always the chance of something fishy in the works, but it's most likely just a very rich dude who wants to put on a show.

Barring something unexpected, I just can't conceive of any way that Povetkin can come close to beating Wladamir.

Yeah, Im guessing theyre going to try and get the cards stacked against Wlad in every way possible, but it's hard to believe that they're this delusional. ****ing Evander Holyfield has a better chance of beating Wlad than Povetkin.

              It's going to Klitschko-Chagaev II.

Yeah, and now they have no choice but to follow through, or lose 2.3 million if they pull out.

If Wladimir beats Povetkin will you haters give him some credit?

                    Wow!

that is a wonderful purse for both(75\25 split)...should be a big event but them russians can be sneaky. there is still a chance this bid won't be finalized. it still could go to K2. if i was wladimir i would be making sure he doesn't give us a borefest. if he grabs & jabs for 12 rounds you just don't know what the judges will do. he should go in there & punish povetkin & blow him out in a couple rounds. sometimes you need a knockout to get a draw & this has that written all over it! finally glad this fight is going to happen.

The Klitschko haters will never give Wlad any credit no matter what he does.

They'll just discredit him by saying his opponents were no good and the era is bad, like they always do.
