122-124-126 it makes no difference, Rigo schools his ass at any weight & even easier than second time round.

Shoulder injury, Baby on the way, wasn't working with Conte, wasn't training with Robert Garcia, didn't study the fight, was struggling to make weight etc etc
Whilst there is some truth in most, cut the damn excuses, accept your defeat, enjoy the birth of your son then get back in the gym and work on your obvious flaws.

The difference between old school fighters & todays in my genuine opinion is back then they would work on their flaws, twice as hard, these days guys only seem to train to their strengths. Its arrogance & Amir Khan is a perfect modern day example of this but at least now he seems to realise.

A hurt fighter doesn't do that.
Exactly....He thought they were going to be separated & relaxed momentarily. & Donaire felt that & took the shot. It wasn't a terribly hard shot which is why he stumbled back rather than drop. But whatever....He dominated him even moreso after the KD.

The best?? You mean it dude? R u kidding or joking? U mean Rigo is better than Ali, Floyd jr, Pacman, Marquez, Roy jones, chavez sr, delaHOYA, Leonard, robinson, mosley???
U know what? Rigo has a good start as pro but still has to proved himself as the legends in boxings do. Dont worry anyway, we salute your patriotistic heart as Cuban... Anyway rigo is good.

When I was in high school, I was a good student.

But deep in my heart i knew I couldn't hack it in AP chemistry. Just not for me: my brain wasn't geared for that kind of abstractions and math. Chemistry owned me.

So, when I did take the class, I didn't study for the tests, and I re-joined the soccer team after a 2 year absence, taking precious time i needed to study.

At the end of the semester, I did very poor; got a D on the final I think.

When I got home, i looked at my grades, looked at chemistry, and told myself "you didn't even study!"

in other words. I understand nonito, he knew that he wasn't good enough for Rigo, so he built in the excuses to feel better about himself and to save face for his wife and fans. This is why he didn't want to face him and looked overconfident when talking about it; big ego usually masks insecurity.

I believe him . He didn't study because Rigo, like advanced chemistry for me, took his soul long before he got on the ring.

Of course Donaire felt Rigondeaux's power that's why he gave him a lot of respect and was very cautious about going into a brawl. This is why he wasn't hearing it from his corner!

ya he did and still got smashed whats the point of a rematch honestly

He was all talking about not getting down to 122 again.. And he never had challenged rigo to go up to fight him, He just said plainly that he will move up and will not stay 122 anymore
