Step aside? So he loses to Moreno in a WBA Bantam title fight, loses to Yamanka in a WBC Bantam title fight, moves up to 122 and beats Orlando Del Valle and is now facing a fighter who has 4 losses in his last 6 fights. What exactly is he entitled to? If the WBC had any values they would rank Donaire #1 since he is a former WBC title holder at 118, beat their champion emeritus former WBC title holder at 122, and no longer holds a title.

I thought Vic wanted to fight him before? I thought Vic was one of the guys calling out Rigo along with Agbeko? Or did they change their mind on April 14th? Bahaha

I don't blame him. It's his career and he isn't getting any younger.

Dont worry, he has the balls to face both Donaire and Rigo at the same time...

Any proof that Vic doesn't want to fight rigo ? I really can't believe that statement ... don't forget that Vic was ready to fight Joe Calzaghe a couple of years ago, let alone Rigondeaux. Of course I'm not implying Vic is gonna beat Rigo, but I sure as hell am sure he's willing to share a ring with a legend like Rigo.

Donaire wants it because he will stand there and trade with an old man, as opposed to someone like Rigo who outboxed him.

I could've sworn I seen him say he would fight Rigo. I think it was some time after beating Del Valle.
