Canelo will eat an shop worn Cotto who isn't impressive at 154. It's about money not about it being a good fight.

Thats what I've been saying. Mayweather isn't gonna reward him with the biggest payday of his career after that stunt.

            Let's do process of elimination.

Angulo will lose to Lara and GBP will not want to put Canelo in the ring with Lara. So cross out Angulo.

Martinez is fighting Murray, followed by possible fights with either Golovkin or a rematch with Chavez Jr if he accepts blood testing. Also, GBP will not put Canelo in with Martinez knowing they can make themselves and Canelo a heck of a lot more money with other fighters.

That fighter is named Miguel Cotto, and that is going to be Canelo's first PPV. Thousands of fans will accuse Mayweather of ducking Canelo but the fact is Canelo vs Cotto is the better fight right now, and Mayweather vs Canelo can wait for May 2014 IMO. Mayweather can fight some one else in September to stay busy, hopefully a decent opponent. Decent stay-busy opponents to me would be Alexander, winner of Maidana-Lopez, Ortiz rematch, Keith Thurman, James Kirkland.

In a perfect world though, where star power does not matter, Mayweather vs Lara at 154 in September would be, on paper, one of my favorite fights in years. But there is so much against that match up, most importantly that Lara is unknown, it's impossible for Floyd to accept that fight unless he's guaranteed a certain amount, very large amount.
I agree with most of what you said but PLEASE kill that Ortiz rematch talk. The dude didn't even wanna fight. He took his money and ran. HELL NO!

Literally! Cuz we all know Ortiz could have gotten up from that punch if he really wanted to. It almost looked staged. Floyd was 150 and he was 165..he wasn't hurt that badly, he's just a mental midget

The Golden Boy really, REALLY dislikes Money.

people like u have yalls head so far up floyds arse, its sickening. floyds already known as a coward and to duck challenges. if he ducks again it just proves why so many people cant stand him.

Duck? Floyd will murder that boy. Its just what I think is gonna happen. He basically gave Floyd the big -F- you when he pulled off the card. So I just think is gonna give it back to him and not reward him with the biggest payday of his career. Yeah right , ducking from Canelo. Canelo needs to be giving Trout a rematch really. Nothing about that fight was definitive.

Exactly, and he didn't even seem to care in the post fight interview. He was just like " whatever, I'm rich now. I'm gonna go buy a donkey" lol
