Floyd will be another great fighter that hangs on too long and fights past his prime. He will be just like tyson, Roy, Evander, Chavez, and countless others.
I can see floyd being 40 years old with a record of 47-3-1 and taking fights overseas after his vegas days are over. Just my opinion but i dont think floyd has the mental capacity to retire like lennox and oscar did.

In his last 3 fights he has looked a lot more stationary, got caught badly in the Mosely fight, was getting roughed up by Ortiz who was walking through a lot of his punches.. got caught a lot more in the Cotto fight than we've seen before and was a lot less mobile.

Anyway guys what do you think Floyds chances of retiring undefeated are?
He can... if he keeps fighting opponents at the right time... past prime.

It's common marketing sense.. Why the hell will judges give it to a old cash cow.. when they can give it to a new future cash cow...

Floyd making money for everyone for the next 2-3 years? Or Canelo for the next 15?

Also Canelo is more liked.. people think that does not influence the judges? That does in today's boxing world.
lol usually I don't like Floyd but I like him more than Canelo. Imagine the hell that would come if Floyd got robbed by Canelo

If he goes undefeated in his next 5 fights... we will never see him again... by the time he goes broke he ll be way past it for a comeback
I think get will run through it faster than you think and Haymon won't help him out at all, if he takes care of his money he will be undefeated.

                Interesting points.

But it all depends on his picks. If he takes the hard route, he will be defeated. He takes the "easy" route, he will retire undefeated.

He should avoid Khan - Yeah you just keep on laughing, wait till it's done.

                  Yes.. Reason being..

At this point in Floyd's career he is not going to put himself in a position where he will loose. He's work hard at this point to get these 30+ mil paydays and is damn smart enough not to take an L by fighting an elite foe. From here on out you'll continue to see Floyd fight mediocre C rated opponents who aren't at his skill level.

Can somebody please explain why Floyd can't keep fighting at a good level at 36 37 38 but Hopkins can do it at 48????? Besides the fact that y'all wana see Floyd lose so bad.....please xplain........cuz not even the young hungry dudes train as hard as Floyd does.

when old age takes place, u will find yourself losing to people who couldn't even dream about beating you in your prime.

Look at Roy Jones, dude is losing to C-d class fighters.
