I've been a fan of Cotto for about 10 years now. His good days are behind him. Canelo is too big for Cotto, Cotto doesnt belong at 154.Comment

I think Cotto can be competitive, I don't think he can win but I think he can stay with Canelo for a good portion of the fight.
Just watch how Canelo fights and the pace at which he fights, that fits in with what Cotto likes to do, now Canelo is bigger more powerful and has better defense so over the course of the fight he should be pulling away. Keep in mind Cotto who fades against the best guys he has fought and Canelo is not exactly the sort of guy that steps it up as the fight wears on.

I really don't want to see Cotto's eyes rolling back in his head after he eats one of those uppercuts. He gets hit too much to mix it up with natural middleweights. Blown up WWs are the only opponents for him at 154.Comment

If Cotto could survive the fight an actually arrive at around round 8 without taking to much punishment, I think his stamina might actually be better and he could possibly win. But I wouldn't say Canelo can't beat him I'd favor him 60/40.Comment

The fact Cotto got a slim win against Clottey 4 years ago leads me little doubt Canelo would take this.
Cotto would look slick at times but he'd be bullied in there.
Cotto has an ability to look really bothered in there at times, and Canelo just never seems remotely phased in his work, TKO round 9.Comment
