Marquez just keeping things in perspective IMO, not hating at all.

I'm sorry but the intangibles cannot be overlooked..Trout benefitted from a heck of a lot more preparation than Canelo did in their youth and got toyed with and schooled..this kid is a beast already and he's not even fundamentally sound yet. Put him with a brother naz and the results would be a world ender..
Schooled? That was not a schooling, hell people are not even convinced he even won. He definitely wasn't dominant. He does have pop on his punch though.

They'll never get that through their heads, just because he has a huge following doesnt mean he can beat king kong... just wait til he reaches his prime people will then realize, till then, let them hate.

People doesn't recognize elite fighters no more even if they pass all the steps to become one. Anyway, one thing I notice, Canelo is better than cotto and way better than Guerrero...

what?all the fighters you named were bigger men than marquez and marquez was not thought to be able to knock any of them out yet knocked out all of them and as far as the pacquiao fights who was consiidered the top 1 or 2 fighters in boxing only won 1 out of the 4 fights in most peoples eyes so if you look at what was expected by marquez he actually exceded expectations more than once.
how many times has canelo done something that people thought he couldn't do?

I wasn't impressed by Canelo as much as I was disappointed with Trout. I was looking for a lot more footwork and side to side movement. He stayed in front of Canelo, for the most part, and tried to live off his jab. I'll agree, Trout landed way more jabs than Canelo, but Canelo landed way more big right hands than trout. Trout seemed to be hypnotized and ate lead right hands, one after the other, all night long. He never really got on his toes, or moved, Canelo around to keep him from setting up the right. Canelo beat Trout, no doubt, but Marquez still needs convincing, I guess.

The red haired mexican has elite tatoo'd all over him. He just made the best 154lbe'r out there look like a fool missing shots and this boy isn't a boxer first. He's a slugger like the boxing god mexicans has always revered. A slugger outboxing the boxer is elite in my world. IMO, he did better than Pacquiao in beating a really good boxer in his own game. It was not only a matter of brute strength he showed but intelligence and maturity beyond his years.

That is why this last fight he had had Floyd worried and running.
