vanes being better then trout is not really all that far fetched. vanes was just never given the cotto fight..........instead he had to fight the very tough awkward lara.

& trolling is when canelo said that he was better & greater then chavez sr. i admit that marquez is on this kids back (beating him with truth) but i only think it's because of some of the comments canelo has made "i am greater then marquez and i would beat him. i am better & much greater then chavez sr."

agree with marquez....trout is a good fighter..it's a good win.. but canelo didn't look that dominant or spectacular as he has looked in his previous fights..reasons for this is because 1) trout is a natural 154ler and 2) trout is in his prime...

i expect canelo to fight the small and past prime cotto for the $$$..because that's all canelo is to GBP..a golden goose.

How come Marquez will feel envy of Canelo? Marquez is a Hall of Famer himself. Canelo is a lot of fights away from being considered to the Hall of Fame. He's just saying the truth. Any top 5 boxers in Canelo's resume? Maybe Trout because he was a champion, but Trout himself wasn't that great of a fighter to be considered a very dangerous opponent. We all knew Canelo would win. Whenever Canelo beats an opponent that we considered very difficult for him to beat, then we can consider him a great fighter. He is just 3 or 4 top names away from being considered atop of the rankings. Right now, Canelo will get his hands full against any boxer that presents an above average stamina, along with boxing skills (for example, Vanes, Lara, Molina). Forget Mayweather, he won't step in the ring against Canelo, unless he beats 2 out of those 3 previously mentioned. He needs way more stamina. He got a knockdown at the 7th round, and he couldn't chase Trout around the ring to finish it because he was flat tired!!! He had to use his legs and his waste more because he couldn't throw two punches at a time. The only thing that helps him a lot is that he IS a big puncher, one of the best power punchers from 140 to 175. He just needs a new strategy where he reserves more energy for the latter rounds, while winning the first part of the upcoming fights.

I've never been particularly impressed by Vanes, he used to fight in the casino here and I almost died laughing when I heard Vanes could have a Cotto match, I would love to see Vanes vs Trout or Canelo I'm pretty sure it ends bad for him. A troll says things for attention, I think JMM is like hey guys look at me, Canelo is just going to get better he should think he'll be a great.

didn't vanes KO trout in the amateurs? of course it's just amateurs though...but would be interesting to see these two fight as pros.
