I watched Floyd/Mosley at a theatre and it wasn't too bad. The only thing is the undercards seem to take longer when you can't get up and move around. But once the main event came on it was a good place to watch it on.
Personally, I prefer to watch in my home with some close friends. Can talk ish and get loud without offending anyone.

as far as "no alcohol", most theaters' employees are high school kids and young college kids, even higher if the theater if right by a college... they really dont care what you bring in as long as you dont make it obvious (ie, dont flash your 40 oz at them on your way in)... go with a girl so she can put everything in her purse/bag

It sounds ace to me man, watching a big fight with a ton of proper boxing fans! I couldnt go watch Cotto though, i get too jacked up id probably end up rumbling with some Marg fans or whoever he was fighting lol
