Damn that sucks, the politics involved in boxing is ridiculous.. I doubt Saul or Sergio would have a problem making this fight happen otherwise. Golden Boy might be the only problem, but looks like they give in whenever Canelo actually puts his foot down.. Hopefully this fight happens though.. Hopefully.

Oh, cool. Thanks for the info, hopefully he does get those fights done early. I got a feeling they'll put him in with Golovkin for that third fight.. If that actually happens and he gets past it like I think he will then a Canelo fight would be huge.

I would love to see it. You can't base anything off of the Chavez Jr. fight. He doesn't have the footwork, head movement, or accuracy that Canelo showed last night.
Sergio would be a stiff test, he is very skilled, but I guarantee you Canelo would not run from that challenge.

Lmao damn Canelo fans saying he'll stop Sergio cause he went down after 11 and a half of dominating a man outweighing him 30 lbs.

If so called "Feather Fisted" Trout kept your boy careful what Would Sergio Do?
Canelo is scared of the thought

I'm all for that fight but the Networks and weight class would be the issue making the fight, I know Martinez said he would not come down to 154 unless is was Floyd. Also Canelo is a young 154 lb'er just filling in to this weight, I'm sure they have no plans on moving up yet possibly once he unifies all titles @154!

When will he be ready? When Sergio starts looking vulnerable and shot? Though I don't care for Chavez Jr, kid had the balls to get in there and fight.

                      Lol.

So Canelo, a 172lb fight night jr middle, can't go up to 160 to fight a smallish middleweight but he wants a 150lb fight night welter to move up to fight him?

                      Am I reading you right?
