Lol, and those are bad fights? Canelo would probably lose to half of those fighters if he was the same size.

          of course not.

he went to 154 to fight de la hoya then started talking mess to a prime winky wright and when it was about to get serious went back down to 147 to fight career 140 pound ricky hatton.

When he beat hatton retired suddenly when welterweight was the hottest division in all of boxing.

Its happening again, fought 154 cotto and now that there is a legit threat in the division goes back down to fight career lightweight robert garcia.

We have seen this maneuver before, i dont know why people are surprised.

Everybody has fought everybody except Floyd. There is a common denominator to all these fights not happening.

The fight negotiations will "fall apart" due to money, maybe some contract issues, or maybe Mayweather chooses to go into retirement again rather than take that fight.

Just like Guerrero, Mayweather is going to find a beatable fighter who's stock is high. Sergio Martinez would be a credible opponent who has looked vulnerable recently, so maybe Mayweather takes that fight instead.
Or it could be because canelo came in at 170 on fight night and woule be about 20 lbs heavier on fight night. So then if they do fight it will likely include a rehydratiob clause which will give floyd haters something to latch onto and complain about.

Imagine if floyd weighed 20lbs more than his opponent on fight night.

Let's just see what happens. Guerrero/May is just two weeks away. Ellerbe did announce with a wide grin on his face that Mayweather will be fighting in May and September this year. Let's see.

agree. manny was devastating when he fought paul williams, zab judah and margarito at 147. I also loved how miguel could come in at a full 147 and not 145.

pwill looked great against shane and cotto.

next thing you know floyd will fight 4 straight ww fights against non welters.
