Problems with Trout's technique cost him the fight

Does it seem to you guys like:

    1) He pushes some of his punches?
    2) He telegraphs somewhat often?
    3) Punches are not as straight as they could be?
    4) He doesn't use his height to his advantage?
    5) He doesn't use intelligent holding to his advantage?

I think with some corrections he could've won the fight clearly. Perhaps he needs a new trainer who can get him snappier on his punches, like a Freddie Roach or someone similar.

I mentioned in another thread that one problem he had was that when he had Canelo on the ropes or was on the inside he would still throw straight shots. He should have used more hooks to the body and head when he was close.

Suddenly Trout is an incomplete fighter with poor technique. where were all these observations 24 hours ago.

He definitely throws a lot of arm punches. Doesn't want to risk sitting down so much due to his questionable chin

Floyd sr would make him complete, he would polish out his punching technique. I still think he is a good fighter just minor tweaks. Both guys came to win it was one of those fights where either you scored it for the more accurate guy who landed hard shots but fights in spurts or the busier guy that didn't land many meaningful shots.

Definitely has to mix up his attack more. He threw way too many one two's and pitty pat jabs.

Exactly what I noticed. Good athlete but very sloppy and doesn't commit to his punches.

Doesn't look like he's right handed based off the way he moves and drops the left hand
