IMO Floyd will pick him apart. The only factors i see that favor Canelo are size
and youth. He is not fast enough or fluid enough to have what it takes
Granted he is a young elite level fighter, but Floyd is on another level

if so, they should have same night weigh in. in the trout fight, canelo was a light heavyweight on fight night, at 172. he would have 25 lbs weight advantage over floyd. damn.

they should fight at 147, then canelo can rehydrate to any weight he likes. otherwise, why doesn't canelo fight someone his own size, say ward, dawson, etc?

He couldn't even make 150 for his catchweight fight, what makes you think he'll make 147?

Larry could've simply said the fight wont happen because canelo is 171 on fight night and floyd is 150-152. But Larry wouldn't be Larry is he didn't take a dig at floyd. Is what it is.

Just shut up with the excuses, if you campaign at 154 that's the price you pay you give up weight if you are small, if may thinks he is to small then he needs to bring his punk a$$ back to 147 and stay their. Don't be a bbiiitch and use the because Iam black they pick on me crap. Just stfu and fight

That's a good point, but the key word is "campaign". One fight at 154 doesn't make a campaign.

His campaign is definitely at 147, not to mention he has a belt there too. So why doesn't anyone talk about Canelo fighting Floyd at 147? I mean Canelo has fought at 147 plenty of times, Floyd's only been at 154 what twice in his whole career?

I could see Floyd's 5th and 6th fight being Canelo Alvarez, there will be so much money that a rematch will be guaranteed. Mayweather will be 38 by then.

Who should Canelo face next? He could take a big money fight with Cotto.
Canelo shouldn't fight Cotto next. Cotto is over the hill and lost to the guy Canelo beat.

Mayweather should be next. If not, Canelo should fight this Lara guy, and then Mayweather could challenge Cotto for the undisputed LMW championship.

                    yes sir !

you have nailed it sir PBF is not ever gonna be mentioned with the greats of boxing , just like lennox lewis who ducked out on the k brother after promising a rematch in front of God and everybody . A trie campion takes the hard fights , takes some risk and gives the fans what they want to see !
floyd has wasted a lot of talet because he scaried of losing his cherry !

QUOTE=TLC8;13278370]Floyd will talk in the third person how Floyd is bigger than Canelo and the sport of Boxing. Up until Guerrero knocks out Floyd. AND the difference is Robert Guerrero would fight Canelo in a heart beat, just because he's full of machismo, comes to fight every night, has never ducked anyone, and is not afraid to risk losing to figh the best. Floyd lacks a LOT of courage; always has. Nobody cares about how much money you made, or how you manufactured and hand picked your career to an undefeated record. NOBODY cares. What matters is who you fought along the way, who you fought during your prime and their prime. How did you stack up against the Best of the Best. Floyd is gutless. Guerrero, Canelo are old school. Do you think because Marvin Hagler didn't retire undefeated, or Ray Leonard, or Thomas Hearns, Roberto Duran, Alexis Arguello, they are considered less than Legendary? NO WAY. Floyd Mayweather will never be considered in that top etchelon of Legends... he was afraid to fight anyone in their prime.[/QUOTE]

cause the ginger is easy pickings and will make floyd a lot of money and if floyd went up 2x, he can go up 3x for an easy payday
