Opening scoring is bull****, whats the purpose anyway?

I remember it was used in Taylor-Ouma and some chavez jr bout, i think it was Rubio. Its take the fun completely out of the fight. I didnt even realize they had open scoring until the 12 round when Paulie was taking about it.

Not a fan of open scoring, surprised that Trout didn't work harder when he KNEW the cards were hopeless, and Canelo with his dubious stamina just coasted the last few.

Some sort of WBC shennanigans going on with cards of 118-109 being handed in, not very subtle.

I think the WBC uses open scoring all the time in Mexico. Open scoring will apparently be used for all the WBC sanctioned fights in Martinez-Murray as well.
