Why did David Haye turn down his offer of a fight? Kubrat Pulev is better than Andrew Wawrzyk, yet Haye turned down Pulev and offered the fight to Wawrzyk.

      Pulev by K.O/TKO

Hes already stopped guys of a similar stature with similar styles that are just as good as Fury if not better.
I honestly feel Fury is nothing but a poor mans Dimitrienko.

Firstly, I guarentee you that at least 50% of voters have not even seen Pulev fight.

        Onto the fight itself...

I am picking Fury to win because I think he can, but I certainly wouldn't bet on it.

Pulev is a good fighter, but he's not fast footed and his handspeed is just ok. He has a nice jab which finds a stationary target well, and he can win fights off that asset. He's a very solid all rounder.

I think Fury has the attributes to win the fight if he boxes to instruction, it would have to be a very disciplined peformance.

Pulev does not have the best defence, and cannot fight inside, these attributes are the tipping point, because if Fury can achieve parity on the outside, then he will win the fight as he certainly will dominate the close up exchanges.

The idiot above me comparing Pulev to Dimitrenko needs to wind his neck in, the difference between fury and the Dimitrenkos/Helenius of this world are that Fury can throw combination punches and fight on the inside

Inside fighting is a HUGE asset in boxing, which puts Fury on a far different level to Dimitrenko and Ustinov. Which is why he beats fighters like Johnson, cunningham and chisora who would all beat Dimitrenko and Ustinov

          Agree.

Have been sating for a while now that people here are hyping Pulev up way too much. He's a solid fighter, but nothing more than that. I think Fury decisions him. Pulev is not even a big puncher, so surprised to see so many people giving him a chance of a KO. Fury has proved his chin imo.

I hope Pulev fights Haye. It would be a good measuring stick to see how good he really is.

Not saying I rate Fury highly or anything. But that's a bad comparison, IMO. Dimitrenko sucks and was never good.

Fury has got a WAY higher ceiling then Dimitrenko. IMO.

I can see Fury keeping Pulev at the end of his jab all night and I could see him getting knocked out. Especially after Cunningham dropped him.

Hughie is Peter's son so Tyson's cousin not brother.

I'd have to pick Pulev over Fury based on his last showing. Pulev is light on is feet and doesn't stay within range too often, rather uses foot movements to avoid incoming shots instead of using his upper body. His not exactly a big puncher but dose pack enough power to keep a fighter honest or force a late stoppage as he showed against Dimitrenko and Ustinov.

I think his jab is underrated and he shows decent timing, he does however keep his left hand pretty low and leaves himself open for a right hand over the top. His amateur pedigree is also worth mentioning, his general boxing ability could cause Fury major problems.

Like I've said before I don't think Fury is ready for a final eliminator because even if he does get past Pulev and get that mandatory shot for the IBF, Wlad would destroy him.

Pulev all day. Quite easy win too for the Bulgarian.

Pulev by KO. The bigger they are, the harder they fall.
