I felt in the beginning of the fight Al Berstein was making it obvious he wanted Trout to win. He called several jabs that just weren't landing worth at all. I was surprised he had Canelo winning, but low and behold at the end of the fight he had it a draw.

I think the rest of the crew was spot on.

A jab serves more than one purpose, you know? Like controlling distance.

Lol bias? They called out the judges almost every round after the 4th...thought it was one of the best commentating fights in awhile... Like someone else said, it's your bias that makes you say this...

Showtime's overall production is like **** star level to hollywood HBO level.
they need better voices/execution when they talk. Its all so monotone

They were excellent. HBO would have spent the last hour telling us the judges had it right to promote the star, Canelo.

I was pining for the HBO crew. I complain about them a lot, but they've wormed their way into my heart and now it doesn't feel like a fight without them.

The Showtime guys were a little stale for me. The main guy (not Paulie or Al but the other guy) is annoying with his affected voice. Al is a good commentator and good guy. He knows his stuff. As for the rest (the format, the people, etc.), it's not so good.

I actually think they are less biased than the HBO crew though.
