It will be similar to the trout fight, I got Canelo by desicion but the big factor here is that Canelo is barely 22, he hasn't even hit his prime yet, he still getting better and smarter with every fight, hopefully he fights Cotto or Floyd in sept. Floyd might be able to get a desicion against Canelo if he doesn't get cought, but if Canelo beats Floyd or Cotto in sept. then he will be unstoppable in JM and would only risk losing if he moves to
MW against Martinez, I would like for Canelo to fight more often though, 2 fights per year at 22 is not acceptable, he should be fighting 3-4 times per year.

They would Rob the **** out of Lara, he would need a Knockout to beat Canelo and he does have the Power to do that but I think Canelo would be able to get it to the cards

If Canelo fights the Lara/Angulo winner, which I'm confident Lara will beat Angulo, Lara will get criticized for throwing pitty patty punches and robbed on the cards.

Canelo will fight hard for 1/3 of the fight, land 2-3 eye catching shots a round, stamina will be shot after 4 rounds, and he'll win the fight 118-110 or something.

The thing is Canelo has better speed and power than Lara and in his last fight he showed an amazing defense against a big, strong, determined southpaw. Canelo is multi-dimensional, he might not be better in p4p standing than Donaire but this is not Rigo vs Donaire at all. Additionally, the Molina and Vanes fiascos might have put some doubt in Lara's head. Meanwhile Canelo got even more confident right now. Lara can win it, but it will be close. Canelo's got real skills and he's been improving leaps and bounds fight after fight, working on different aspects of his game. I think Lara is very good but I think Canelo's skills at the moment are sharper and yes you're judged by your last fight.

We disagree on that. I use to think that until he took the hugfest route against Kirkland when he didn't even need to.

When he didn't hold Kirkland, he got hurt and dropped.

This site tends to hate Canelo and no matter who he beats, they will always claim he can only win by robbery. Now last night showed that Canelo is a damn good boxer and he might have a problem with a fighter like Williams, but then again his does have power and can starch those types of fighter.

I feel Lara is less gifted than Trout and might be in for a long night against the patient stalker that Canelo is. You guys can forever doubt the game, but the kid is very very talented.

Canelo is not a come forward fight and he is also fast. Lara has the same work rate as canelo even if he doesnt gas.

Wanna see a not fast, come forward fighter against Lara, see the Molina fight

Exactly. The ref was horrible. I still think Monlina would have had a good chance to win without excessive hugging, but he never gave himself a chance.
