Mayweather would most likely win due to experience, stamina and defense but Floyd has never been dominate at 154 because of his size. Canelo is a big guy and would do fairly ok due to his size. Would be a mix of Oscar/Cotto for Floyd at 154. This is just my opinion though.

Canelo hit Trout with a straight jab, and dropped him. Trout was trying to stay up and that's why he looked like he lost his balance instead.

First, the open scoring system is worthless.

Anywho, the scorecards were an absolute disgrace. I can see either boxer taking it but not by that wide of a margin. I thought Trout won the early rounds with his jab alone. But once Canelo started winging bombs, he had Trout thinking twice about everything. Anywho, I won't scream robbery.

As far as Canelo fighting Mayweather....Canelo is actually shorter than Floyd so the size differece isn't that big. Speed, skill, stamina, ring IQ and defense are all advantages for Floyd. Canelo's advantages are youth and punching power. It would be a great fight but the youngin would be schooled badly imo.

Canelo is overrated. He is good, but not great. I don't like Floyd at all, but he would school this kid. Canelo had trouble touching fish. He'd really have trouble getting to #2 p4p Floyd.

              Alvarez Not Ready

I watched the fight, it was much closer than the refs had it clearly. I believe that Alvarez isn't ready For Mayweather though. Mayweather has too much skill, too slick, and way too smart for the young pup. Just watch and see..

Ofc the reason Canelo had problems touching Trout came down to mainly Trout throwing whenever he was in range and moving out of range when done. Canelo couldn't stand in front of him and tee off at all - Trout wasn't cooperating that way (and neither should he have).

Floyd isn't quite so active and does like to stand in front of a fighter... because he's that ****ing good. It would be an intriguing fight but you have to favour Mayweather. Still, Canelo has that X factor. Don't forget, he's a 22 year old kid and he just made a very good fighter, in Trout, unable to land clean for 12 rounds, and dropped Trout for the first time in his career.

It always amuses me how little credit Canelo gets, no matter how good the opponent is that he beats. People slated him for making Matt Hatton play survival for 12 rounds. People slated him for battering Baldomir, Rhodes, Gomez. He gave Mosley a total beating, far worse than Mayweather did. Lopez was a fill in opponent and fighting 2 divisions out of his ideal weight, but you can only beat who is put in front of you. He thumped Cintron and Cuello, Ndou didn't win a round. So what, Jose Cotto caught him cold and buzzed him... and then got thumped. Andre Ward was down to a far lesser fighter than Jose Cotto. People don't take into account Canelo's age. He's so young yet such a veteran and has a habit of making savvy veterans look desperate.

He deserves credit for beating Trout, albeit it wasn't the definitive performance most doubters will have required to change their minds. Trout is a tricky fighter with great conditioning, good skills and good ring IQ. The scores were bull**** but Canelo edged it on my card (1 point).

Na, he might just leave him sitting on his stool after rounds of accumulated punishment

                      Not ready for Mayweather

Let me say this that was a sorry fight. That was a draw,Mayweather will toy with both of them. If you know boxing you will know that Canelo is overrated,he fights in spurts, he hits hard but he would not hit Mayweather.
