I actually think Canelo showed a wrinkle in the game NOBODY expected. I'm not disappointing in either guy. Both showed to be top notch. I'll see how people feel after trout gets his hands on a Angulo/kirkland type.

I didn't think Trout was very good before this fight, I now think he might be downright average.

He's got pretty good speed, but he's not very skilled, his power is suspect and he's just not that good.

Canelo fan I am. And in a house full of mexicans he left us disappointed. No fn stamina at all!!! He coulda koed trout easy if he just woulda threw more damn punches. Scored it a draw. Whatever Nelo won but ths isn't the first canelo performance that I felt he could of done more

Disappointing performance from Trout. He fought scared IMO. When 90% of your jabs dont land because you're not reaching, it says you're keeping way too much distance. Trout seemed very surprised, like all of us, how slippery canelo was and how well he avoided his punches and hard to hit clean. He also seemed more slappy and feather fisted then usual

You're not supposed to reach with your jab. It puts you off balanced when you do.

Here goes everyone making Trout out to be a bum. He dominated Cotto, who everyone said did the "best" against Mayweather. No one expected Canelo to come out with head movement like Pernell Whitaker and slip most of Trout's punches. Gotta give Canelo credit, impressive win.

I said at the time people were making too much of someone beating up Cotto's shot ass. Cotto isn't the elite level monster he's often made out to be, he's a gatekeeper. It was a good win for Trout, but people's delusions about Cotto gloried Trout's abilities.

I am not jumping ship. Maybe I just thought he would of done better. He fought well but n8t great.
