While he was active during the fight and made it competitive, his jab had little snap or sting to it and I didn't see good combinations. While he was being aggressive Ididn't see Canelo hurt or worried.
I had Canelo winning but coming into the fight i thought Trout was going to win. Could it be that Cotto was that shot, that trout took it easy.Or trout overlooked canelo? I hate this word but did the cotto win overhype trout?

I had the Trout-Cotto fight 6-6 the first time, 7-5 Trout the second time. Nothing easy about that. Troutanaggi was just badly overrated by anti-Canelo fans.

Disappointing performance from Trout. He fought scared IMO. When 90% of your jabs dont land because you're not reaching, it says you're keeping way too much distance. Trout seemed very surprised, like all of us, how slippery canelo was and how well he avoided his punches and hard to hit clean. He also seemed more slappy and feather fisted then usual
