Canelo, if the big super-welter Trout can't take Alvarez's power, the significantly smaller FMJ isn't going to be able to take it.

The younger Floyd could have kept the fight at a distance with his mobility but he doesn't have that any more, he's walking down fighters now and he's not going to be able to do that with Alvarez.

        Mayweather doesn't stand a chance.
Oscar and Sulaiman are out for blood.
Sulaiman loses nothing if Floyd loses at 154

Canelo by late stoppage. Canelo weighed at 172lbs on fight night. Floyd would land enough eye-catching punches, but Canelo would overpower him and stop him in the late rounds against the ropes.

Canelo isn't ready yet. 1 or 2 more fights.

Canelo beats Floyd. Not because of skills, but youth. He's a big, strong fighter with explosive speed and power. Floyd doesn't have enough pop to keep him off him and Canelo can crack. Floyd's my guy, but I hate this match up for him. It's the typical older fighter getting beat by the new guy. Like Holmes vs. Tyson. I don't care if someone beats Floyd, but I'd rather it be someone like Pacquiao than overhyped Canelo.

It's actually quite the opposite. What Floyd saw tonight (if he watched the fight) is a guy who isn't just your generic, come forward pressure fighter. But a guy who can slip his punches and use his defense as well, even though his offense wasn't up to par.

Canelo will give Floyd all kinds of problems. It will go similarly to Trout-Canelo except now the height advantage is gone and you've got two equally tall fighters.
He slipped trouts pitter patter punches but won't slip Floyds

As long as Floyd fights him within a year he should be able to get the job done, it will be tricky for him though because him and Canelo like to fight at the same sort of pace.

Floyd is superior at it plus has more tools in his bag, but Canelo will give him a lot of issues and if Floyd lost more than I think he has Canelo can get the job done.

I think that fight is very interesting.
