Guys this might have been posted before, but I simply can't get over this reaction. Some points I want to address here.
Were these guys hardcore or casuals boxing fans? I'm trying to understand how many of the social networks perceive this sport.
I have screwed around here and boasted about the expression "Sweet Science" used specifically to imply technicality. This is wrong. The sport itself is The Sweet Science Whether you're in for brutality or can sit around for a full one sided fight.
Some accuse fights of being boring because they want all out war, while others appreciate a good technical fight. There is crap being flown in every direction. "I'm an almighty Purist", "You are just a casual", "12 rd UD fight A is more exciting than 12 rd UD fight B", "Get out of here with your purist bs". Quotes like these have normally been around but have increased significantly since last Saturday.
Can boxing from a promotional standpoint cater to all fan bases? I'm sure most can answer with a simple 'no' but what will it take for the sport to balance out and give everyone a good taste of all aspects of The Sweet Science?
