LOL@ lucky punch....was the knockdown in round 3 a lucky shot as well?????? Manny was one point up on Marquez before the ko and even if he got up from the nap that Marquez put him in,he would have been down a point.

Most people believe that Manny got gifts against JMM in their previous fights-then JMM does what he needed to do and you call it luck. BTW, how long did MAnny wait to give JMM a rematch the first 2 times????? I don't wanna see a part 5...it seems too rehashed. Let Manny cherry pick some lighter weight guys who are tailor made for him-lmao

I have read that the decision not to make the 5th fight right away came from Bob Arum. Bob wanted to make the Pacquiao/Rios or Alvarado fight in October, and the Marquez/Bradley fight in September.

Doesn't matter the outcomes of these fights there would still be interest in a Rios vs Alvarado III, or a Pacquiao vs Marquez V for next year.

I have to believe that Arum worked his magic to sell all fighters on this scenario, since I can't imagine that both Bradley and Marquez would decline a Pacquiao fight and all the money that come with it, to fight each other.
      Doesn't make sense to me.

..people are still arguing about the "lucky punch" LMAO! It doesn't matter anymore! Boxers usually grow bigger b@lls coming from a KO win and the biggest if you KO cold the other guy. Most boxers will do it again and will be confident enough to get the same result for "Easy Money" It's a good thing JMM is moving on but for less money and against Tim? Not the best time to fight Bradley, Tim learned something from his last fight and will come out smarter against JMM if ever that fight materializes.
If JMM loses to Tim, he's done. So he better beat up Tim because at his age he's running out of options.

But I don't get, why not fight the guy that you KO cold again for more money. KO Pac again and take the money and then fight Bradley, win or lose..you are ****** rich! It's what you call Pro Boxing! But I wish JMM the best and what is best for him.

Marquez was on drugs. He'd get found out before the 5th fight and lose all the credit he gained for his win.
          He's a cheater. And a coward.

As exciting as it is to see those guys face each other, I think that's all they're going to do in the future, just do in house fights. Maybe its just me, but I'd like to see those guys fight other people then each other over and over.

It won't happen because Manny Pacquiao will NEVER take a random blood and urine test. He had the chance against Mosley and Marquez and they agreed and he didn't.

It wasn't a lucky punch and Marquez tested clean.

                    It was the PERFECT PUNCH.

Give Marquez his due, he knocked Pacquiao out - great timing and great preparation.

Rios/Alvarado is actually good because it's a gauge to see where Pacquiao is at after that brutal KO.

You are completely wrong. First, Manny always took the higher cut than JMM, so what makes you think he would get more money fighting Manny again.

Besides, other than Filipinos, Manny is not that popular anymore to the general public. I did not pay for Manny-JMM 4, and I sure won't pay for part 5.

However, I would pay for JMM and Bradley. It will be an interesting fight and should appeal to true boxing fans.
