Alexander isn't ducking anyone, he's fought Matthysse, Maidana and Bradley and wanted to fight Mayweather and Kell, it makes sense to stick with a Brit, no problem for a 4 week replacement, double standards crack me up.

I liked the Carson Jones fight, at least he'd come too win and make it exciting.

It just shows me how messed up these organisations rankings really are tbh. Hes beaten nobody of any note ever and is down & outright awful. Is he even in the top 40? What has he done for him to be ranked 4th?

It makes me laugh how most have Purdy ranked higher than Denton Vassell who beat the **** out of him, is still undefeated and has fought and beaten much better opposition since.

I'm delighted for Purdy as he is from my home town.

BUT, this fight is a complete mismatch. Purdy has no business fighting at World level. I hope he gives a good account of himself as I'm sure he will but Alexander should have way too much.
