Comments Thread For: Rigondeaux Open To Facing a Top Featherweight at 124

WBO/WBA super bantamweight Guillermo "The Jackal" Rigondeaux (12-0, 8KOs) is looking for big opportunities after his impressive decision victory over Nonito Donaire. Boris Arencibia, Rigondeaux's co-promoter through Caribe Promotions, feels that gradually the two-time Olympic gold medal winner is beginning to receive the recognition that was previously denied due to ignorance about Rigondeaux's skills.

"Since 2009, the year we signed Rigondeaux, I was always confident that he could defeat the Filipino Nonito Donaire when he was at 118 pounds. Now, apparently after April 13, all of those who didn’t know Rigondeaux's skills saw this masterpiece against the best fighter of 2012, and one of the top pound for pound fighters," Arencibia said.

there's no way rigo can make 126 he's way too small....the jump from 122 to 126 is a big diff it's not like 118 to 122 which is nothing.

If he's not big enough for 126 stay at 122, Pacquiao fans aren't allowed to complain though.

the weigh in before the marroquin fight rigo was 128 while marroquin was 134. Rigo is def too small for 126

Whats the difference exactly? 118 to 122 (4 pounds) is nothing but 122 to 126 (4 pounds) is a lot?
