Horrible comparison. Lebron James needs to be offensive and aggressive to give his team the best opportunity to win.

In any sport, its a professional athlete's job to execute a gameplan that gives him the best opportunity to win. I don't get why boxing is so different.
I can tell this guy didn't even bother reading the whole post, please dont reply with that you are a fan of one fighter?

Read my post again clearly, you just read the title and replied.

Not you in particular. Just in general. People aren't casual fans because they "don't like slick boxing". They are called casual fans because they aren't paying attention to strategy and what a fighter needs to do to win.

Rigo clearly outboxed Donaire( who i picked to win). Give him credit for making Donaire fight his style. He showed great ring generalship. Could he have thrown more punches maybe. But he knew if he got careless Donaire had the power to hurt him. Very smart fight by Rigo. Wasnt an exciting fight, but you have to appreciate what he did to a top Boxer.

            Casual or not..

If you don't believe Rigo's performance last weekend was a masterful display of Boxing beauty..I don't know what you're looking for..

It's not often we see the speed, power, ring generalship and boxing IQ like we all witnessed last weekend..It was a pleasure to watch..

It was a like watching a fencing match! It was the most boring ***ing display of not trying to hurt someone. It's Boxing! The object is to hurt the other guy not bounce a bunch of arm punches off a guys head. Rigo is very skilled boxer but *** that i can still think he's a boring ass boxer and he isn't gonna headline any PPV fights anytime soon.

Exactly my point, and the only time they use Sweet Science is to refer to low punch output super defensive back steppers, which is a load of bull, that is only one aspect of boxing. So Roberto Duran, julio chavez sr, Joe Frazier, must not be legends since they never took a backwards step.

Sweet science includes all aspects and styles. But these guys love to own the word for slick or super defensive boxers only.
