    No...he's just saying in a nice way "If I was an Arturo Gatti, Brandon Rios or Jorge Arce, I would retire."

    In other words, he's too smart to stay in a sport where if he did not perform intelligent enough to prevent danger to his health, he wouldn't be in it.

    It's like a baseball player who's batting stance makes for a lot of unintentional hit-by-pitches and the player does nothing to change this, and gets hurt all the time and has a short career.

        Coincidentally, neither guy really has/had a defense... Lol. I dont think even Rios likes getting hit. He likes the feeling of being in a fight where its give and take but he would NOT just let you hit him for the sake of "liking" it.
