The same mosley pacquiao ducked remember, the same mosley everyone said floyd wouldn't fight, and he did. floyd beat marquez more convincingly in 12 rounds than pac could in 48

So he should have, considering he didn't even make weight after making Marquez move up 2 divisions. Anything different would be damaging for FloydComment
-
marquez had to put on basically no weight to fight at 147. he walks around the same weight floyd does, juan himself has said weight wasnt the issue, it was his styleComment

So why the catchweight? And why did Floyd need to cheat the agreed weight? Just because he paid for it doesn't mean there wasn't a reason for doing soComment

Why would Floyd need to renegotiate his weight? What reasons could there be for that? Especially so close to the fight.
Marquez had never been over 135lb, he was fighting at 130lb literally the year before. But Floyd needed the extra lb's anyway.
I personally do not know if Marquez "minded" or not, but that's his mentality. Your response does not tell me why Floyd needed to cheat the agreed weights, and change days before the fight. Marquez may not have minded, but Floyd seemed desperate to get as much advantage as possible, against a lightweight.
You make a terrible case for the Floyd-Marquez fight. Floyd should fight him now whilst hes ranked highly p4p and at Welterweight, not making him come up 2 divisions and then cheating the agreed catchweight. Pac's fights with Marquez were far more significant.
All this is even despite the fact that styles make fights. Pac may have a hard time with Marquez's style, yet that doesn't mean Floyd is higher on the ATG list. In fact, it highlights Pac's willingness to take a challenge knowing his prior 3 fights with him were so close.Comment

-No it proves the gap in ability to win a fight against highly skilled fighters without much problem like Mayweather has pretty much done his whole career. the fact that its taken manny this many tries to beat his ATG rival speaks volumes. Why would Floyd need to renegotiate his weight? What reasons could there be for that? Especially so close to the fight.

-everyone knows pac tried cherrypicking marquez in the 3rd fight
-if weight was such an issue why isnt marquez screaming and shouting for a rematch against floyd, like he has for pacquiao the last decade? lol...he knows he cant ever beat floyd.Comment
