Floyds Pulled Ahead of Manny ATG-Wise

always ranked Manny above Floyd as far as legacies go, and Floyd is actually passed him as far as legacies are concerned, if Pac keeps on with this (Margarito, Marquez, Bradley, Marquez (loss BY KO)) and Floyd keeps fighting the #1, 2 and 3 guys in their weights, its no contest

Since Pac has moved up from 140:

Floyd fought Marquez (won handily) Beat Mosley (Champion, #1 Welter) Beat Ortiz (#2 welter) and now beat Cotto (Champion, #1 Junior Middle) and will beat Guerrero #3 ww

Pac has fought Cotto (#4 Welter) Clottey (#6 welter) Beat Mosley (#5 welter) Margarito (unranked) and Marquez (unranked, some felt he lost) Bradley, and got sparked cold by Marquez

Now Pac is fighting ex college wrestling champ in a high priced tune up??

If you're only comparing welterweight sure but overall career I think Pac still has an edge on him.

Even look at P4P, Pac is bottom half and Floyd's been top 5 for almost a decade now which is insane.

Not after the last 4 years. Pac pulled ahead in mid 200s but Floyd pulled right back out the last few years. He's beaten nothing but ranked challengers since the Marquez tuneup.

You're one of the few that understands that mentioning name along with the rank that they held at the time is the only way to tell the entire story.

Some people just harp on and on about who was fought and not what they were doing at that point in their career.

Look at the big picture and not just on corner of it to get the facts.

Ranked fighters none that great. Ortiz, Guerrero, older Cotto. They get ranked high at WW because the division sucks now. Cotto, I have no idea how he became number 1 the only ranked JMW he fought was Yuri Foreman. Mayorga, Margarito weren't ranked.

basically. I understand though, a lot of manny's "fans" are relatively new so whatever top rank hypes up they will believe

so when they say he beat Morales its like....ok....but morales was gone by then. not sure what that does for manny's legacy.

Yes but Floyd isn't losing against them. Pac's been starched by an unranked blown up lightweight and 2 no names, by comparison.

                Floyd barely loses rounds

Floyd was always greater than Floyd. It took Pac getting ktfo to wake you guys up to reality. The gloves don't lie.

Manny did himself no favors letting Bob run his career once he moved to 147
